    Quinta da Chaminé is located in the vast, warm countryside of central Portugal - a scenic, ninety minute drive from Lisbon's International airport. As public transport options are limited, we highly recommend renting a car to be able to arrive at the venue and move around comfortably.

  • The theme

    The Alentejo region, known for its landscapes of vineyards, cork trees and rolling hills, provides the perfect natural setting for this stylish yet relaxed occasion with a bohemian spirit. We envision a day of rustic elegance, where natural textures of wood and stone mingle with lush greenery and autumn hues. Think rusty red, pastel orange, olive green, gold.... accented by the earthy tones of the region. Our decor will feature organic elements like fresh and dried flowers, woven textiles, and candlelight to create an intimate, cosy atmosphere.

    What to wear

    We encourage you to prioritise your creativity, personal style and comfort over formality. Embrace the elegant, bohemian vibe and wear what makes you feel confident and at ease. Remember to dress for different weather conditions - Alentejo in October is warm in the afternoons but the temperature may drop significantly at night.

    Co-creation

    Most importantly, we want our wedding to be a joyful celebration of our love, surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. We would love our friends and family to participate in our special day. Be it through a speech, a poem or a live music performance, anything you create and share will be appreciated.     Many of you are traveling a long way for this occasion, so we want to maximise our time together and make the trip worthwhile! On Sunday, the day after we tie the knot, we invite you to enjoy a day of music, art, and magic in the beautiful countryside surrounding Quinta da Chaminé.

  • The Picnic of Passion is a casual potluck gathering, so wear your most comfortable clothes and bring your favourite snacks, fruits and drinks.

     

    If you wish to prepare a special dish to share, simply bring along the ingredients - you'll have access to a large kitchen.
